Dwyane Wade’s high school yearbook quote was exceptionally accurate
Dwyane Wade once admitted he knew LeBron James was leaving Miami. “I could tell” is what he proclaimed to ESPN.
Well, as it turns out, this is kind of his thing. On Friday he posted a pic from his high school yearbook on Instagram. While he looks like your typical athletic teenager, it’s his confident prediction (and REALLY bad spelling) that stands out:
Besides spelling retiring wrong haha..I knew what journey in life I wanted to be on. I didn't know how I would get there but I had the vision and the dream.
Nawwww, that’s awesome! Still, it made us wonder about how some OTHER athlete yearbook quotes went.
Thankfully, SB Nation’s research team was able to uncover more high school quotes from NBA players. Oddly enough, they were all in the same yearbook and happened to be wearing their future NBA jerseys.
