Cyclist survives terrifying crash with car during Tour of Utah

Cyclist Matt Brammeier is in the hospital recovering from this terrifying crash on the Guardsman’s Pass during the Tour of Utah. Brammeier lost control of his bike descending the steep hill and crashed into the side of a support vehicle. He fractured several ribs, suffered a punctured lung and fractures to his sacral and pelvic bones.
He managed to tweet a photo from his hospital bed letting everyone know he’s okay.
