Odell Beckham Jr. appeared in the September issue of Vogue Magazine, sporting this outfit designed by Hood By Air:
We’re kind of confused by Odell Beckham Jr.‘s new shoe-jeans
Are his shoes part of his pants??? Giants going 4-12 pic.twitter.com/vuXZUTOGpU
— Almost Julius Caesar (@DukeOfZamunda) August 19, 2015 A few things:
1. The shoes are connected to the jeans?!
2. As Bomani Jones points out:
wait…so the jeans got shoes in em? so you gotta get em in your waist size, inseam AND shoe size? must be expensive.
— El Flaco (@bomani_jones) August 19, 2015 3. Actually, yeah -- the shoe-jeans cost $1,055.
The cost really isn’t the concern here. Beckham Jr. has done plenty for the Giants to justify buying an outfit like this. The concern here is ... how exactly does one fit in those jeans? Is it like a onesie, except cut in half, and you have to adjust the shoe-jeans to fit comfortably around your feet and legs? Why do those strings look like the messy wiring behind your entertainment center?
Fashion is fascinating and weird. Also, expensive.
