If you spend most of your time working hard at what you do, you know that -- deep down -- you secretly want a break. So Arizona Wildcats coach Rich Rodriguez surprised his hard-working players during practice ... by canceling it after 15 minutes.

“You understand, in practice, we wanna make you uncomfortable. You understand that? By the music, by the tempo, and usually by the weather -- how the hell am I gonna make you uncomfortable with a cloud cover like this, huh? I can’t make you uncomfortable with this? Cool! So you know what, PRACTICE IS CANCELED!”
AND THERE WAS MUCH REJOICING FROM THESE GENTLEMEN:
... WHO WORE SUPER HAPPY FACES ...
... AND ESCAPED THE STADIUM ...
... AND PRAYED A LITTLE.
Also, Rodriguez totally didn’t tell his staff about this, who ended up wasting their time setting practice up:
”You know, I feel bad [that] the trainers and equipment guys and coaches all prepped for practice, but ... if you’re gonna have a secret, you can’t tell everybody, right?
That is true, Coach.
