Randy Moss, 38, told Fox Sports host Curt Menefee that he could potentially be back on an NFL field this season. When asked about a return, the six-time Pro Bowler told Menefee:
Randy Moss teases us all with NFL comeback talk
“Curt, I actually have not lost an inch. I’ve been working out with a few guys over the offseason. But the one thing, I have been retired the last two years. You never know, Curt. It’s the love of the game I still have inside of me.”
Menefee then said, hey, that’s not a guarantee you’ll be with me on air for the rest of the season, to which Moss smiled wide and VERY enthusiastically replied:
“I don’t know, the sky’s the limit for me, Kurt. We just have to wait and see!”
Last year, Moss said he’d consider a comeback, but only if a player of Peyton Manning’s caliber asked him to. Perhaps he believes he has a good shot at landing somewhere to nab him a Super Bowl? We’ll just have to wait and see!
