When Darshon McCullough caught that return at the 1-yard line, it looked promising. He had a nice seam and quickly got into space. Then after about 60 yards, it all seem to dissolve and it looked like McCullough was going to have to settle for a 70-yard return.
Already off balance and being wrapped up, McCullough should be tackled. Except he wasn’t and was off to the races a second later. McCullough is already committed to South Dakota State so if Friday night is any indication, Jackrabbit fans have fun returns to look forward to.
