Former Louisville basketball star kicks in window to save driver from burning car


According to University of Louisville’s SID, the former Louisville basketball star kicked in a window to help remove a person from their burning car.

— Kenny Klein (@KKcards) September 15, 2015 Harrell described the situation in a video for Bleacher Report and said he and others ran over to the accident and after learning the man was unable to unlock his door, started to kick in the window and do whatever they could to help.
“It’s just the kindness of my heart to help another man, help another person,” Harrell said.
Per a report by WDRB, it was a group of people who helped kick in the window, and all of this took place on Saturday night on Louisville’s campus.
Just a few days later, on Tuesday, Yahoo reported that Harrell is close to signing his first NBA contract:
