The office prank. It’s a staple of life. A bastion for keeping your sanity in the work place. A well-executed prank is a beautiful thing, but there are some things you should never use as a prank. Right at the top of that list is: “Something a person is allergic to.”
Pat Naduzzi doesn’t care about your allergies. When he and now-Syracuse head coach Scott Shafer were at Rhode Island he decided that Shafer was lying about being allergic to kiwis. It didn’t end well.
“I walk in there and his eyes are swollen shut. [...] I think that was the first time I got yelled at by a coach’s wife. She had to bring in some Benadryl.”
THIS IS NOT OKAY! Your coworker said he was allergic to them and you did it anyway. Yeesh ... it’s a good thing Shafer’s eyes swelled shut and not his throat. Dude, not cool.
