— NFL Network (@nflnetwork) September 20, 2015 Kelly, who appeared on NFL GameDay in an Ole Miss shirt, had extra reason to celebrate: his nephew, Chad Kelly, is the starting quarterback at Ole Miss, which upset No. 2 Alabama for the second year running on Saturday night.
Kelly announced in 2013 that he was undergoing treatment for carcinoma in his jaw. In November, the Pro Football Hall of Famer announced that he had contracted an MRSA infection in his bones, a potentially serious condition.
