Stephen Colbert matches Stephen Curry in ‘Late Show’ shooting contest

Golden State Warriors star and reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night. Colbert challenged Curry to a shooting contest, only instead of shooting basketballs the pair were throwing laundry into a hamper. The contest was said to settle the high-stakes distinction of whose name appears first when you type “Stephen” into Google.
After Curry and Colbert each made one piece of laundry in the basket during the 30-second time limit, the game went to sudden death, where both again made their only shot. So that settles it: the only person who can match Steph Curry in a shooting contest is Stephen Colbert.
