Kudos to Baffert here. It would have been so easy to rig this Horse Pick, but he respected the sanctity of the Horse Pick. There are clearly carrots under the UCLA hat, too. He could have only put carrots under the Arizona hat. He could have put something horses hate under the UCLA hate like ... horseradish.
Lee Corso said “I like horse, but I love cats” then picked Arizona to cheers, and blew a bugle out of a whisker when he missed the mouth.
