Mark Wahlberg becomes Philadelphia legend with ‘Go Eagles!’ in front of the Pope

Mark Wahlberg introduced former Eagles running back and current pastor Herb Lusk at the Festival for Families in Philadelphia on Saturday. He played to the crowd a little with a “Go Eagles!” shoutout.

This is great, but YO POPE FRANCIS IS RIGHT THERE BE COOL MARK.

Remember this is the Cool Pope though so he gets it. He knows sports are cool. It’s OK, guys.

Mark Wahlberg is not an Eagles fan, and is in fact famously from Boston. He was just saying a thing.
