Arkansas Tech takes field with 10 men to honor late teammate and immediately scores

In its game against Southern Nazarene -- on the first play -- Arkansas Tech intentionally used only 10 players on its defense. The team did this to honor its late teammate Zemaric Holt, a defensive lineman who tragically passed away in July after drowning.
Obviously, running any play while being down a player, even intentionally, is bound to end in a bad result. But when Southern Nazarene ran a trick play -- again, this was the first play of the game -- it backfired with a fumble, and Arkansas Tech recovered for a touchdown.
The game ended in a 62-14 win for Arkansas Tech.
