In an interview after the win, she had some interesting words to say, including one word she says her coach made up.
“Between finish and punish, he came up with a pinish,” Azarenka says while the entire crowd can’t help but giggle along with her.
Pinish is definitely a new one. It’s awkwardly fun to say. If imagining pinishing your opponents helps you achieve victory, then you keep doing you, Azarenka.
