Jordan Spieth destroyed Texas’ offense in fewer than 140 characters

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Texas football faced off against No. 11 Notre Dame on Saturday, and it wasn’t pretty, to say the least. The Longhorns went scoreless through the first half.

Former Texas golfer Jordan Spieth, who has been struggling as of late, was not amused, posting this tweet in the midst of the second quarter.

The Longhorns weren’t able to muster up a comeback win and lost, 38-3, only scoring on a field goal in the third.

Spieth’s frustration is warranted, as Texas also had its troubles last season. The team wasn’t able to break even, finishing 6-7. In the final game against Arkansas, the Longhorns fell 31-7, rushing for just two yards.
