Dirk Nowitzki is the tallest, most German Donald Trump we’ve ever seen
The Dallas Mavericks have released a new promo video that features Dirk Nowitzki doing the best Donald Trump impression he could muster, complete with a ridiculous wig. Obviously, everything Nowitzki says in the video is a nod to Trump, from his Mexican border proposal to the “Make America Great Again” hat.
But what makes even better is a) the whole thing is produced as if it’s a Tim & Eric skit, filled with deliberately awkward zooms, pans and green screen effects, and b) Hulk Hogan’s theme song is playing in the background. It kind of brings back memories of their 2014 video where they became “Run DMC.”
Even though it’s not true, I still want to believe Nowitzki produced and directed the whole Trump promo by himself, with personal guidance from Mark Cuban, who’s pretty good friends with Trump.
