49ers players know Chip Kelly’s hiring means running and lots of it

The 49ers’ Thursday announcement that former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly would take over in San Francisco prompted a couple players to express concern -- over how much running they would have to start doing.

49ers wide receiver Torrey Smith kicked things off just minutes after the Kelly news was announced.

Running back Mike Davis seconded Smith’s concern.
