Even when calls go against New England, the Patriots benefit

The New England Patriots are well on their way to knocking off the Kansas City Chiefs and advancing to the AFC Championship game. In part because of plays like this.
That play was a fourth down attempt by the Chiefs that New England defensive back Duron Harmon initially appeared to intercept. Either way, it ended the Chiefs’ drive and put New England firmly in control.
There was a funny aspect to the play though. Because it was a deep heave on a fourth down, the Patriots were much better off not intercepting the ball. The catch was overturned and it was called an incompletion, a nice bonus for the Patriots even though the play went against them.
The Pats were very excited on the initial call; in fact, this is probably as excited you’ll ever see NFL players to lose 28 yards.
Everything is coming up Patriots.
