Have you seen Brett Favre hawking terrible products on early morning TV? Apparently this is what Favre has been up to since retiring from the NFL. Sometimes you’ll see him telling you to buy “Copper Fit,” a compression garment with the power of “odor reducing copper,” but today let’s look at “Tough Blade,” the razor Favre is endorsing.
Brett Favre would like to sell you a horrible razor with his cheesy infomercial

Favre’s razor is so much better than those big brands, according to Favre -- because the blades last so much longer and they have a “toughline coating.” I’ve listened to this ad about 20 times and I’m sure he’s saying “toughline,” not “Teflon.” He says it in such a way that you think he might be saying “Teflon,” but nowhere on Tough Blade’s site is the word Teflon mentioned. It just says “non-stick coating,” so it’s plausible he’s saying “toughline.”
The whole premise of this commercial is the idea that Favre is holding a press conference to announce he’s coming out of retirement, when in reality he’s just showing off a razor. This is some much-needed realism, because this is what a Brett Favre press conference in 2015 would look like. So, should we buy the Tough Blade?
Obviously the answer is yes.
What do people think after being convinced to buy the Tough Blade? Well, reviews are mixed. Only a handful of the 46-percent of five-star reviews are verified purchases on Amazon. Some people legitimately love it! Others ... not so much.
Here’s the full commercial. It’s pretty amazing.
