With the 2016 Royal Rumble just a few days away, WWE tag team stable The New Day dropped by SportsCenter to talk about any plans for the main event. Fittingly, they spoke with former WWE employee Jonathan Coachman, and it almost feels like he never left the company:
WWE’s The New Day plays the ‘SportsCenter’ theme on their beloved trombone

At one point, Xavier Woods got a hold of his trombone, after the group made a couple lewd puns that were just sitting there, and played the SportsCenter theme. It’s, uh ... it is indeed a rendition of the SportsCenter theme:

— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) January 20, 2016 Sunday will be a huge night for Kofi Kingston for three reasons:
1. The Tag Team championship titles are on the line with The New Day facing The Usos.
2. This year will be the first time the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be defended in a Royal Rumble match, which means Kingston (who will most likely be in the match) has a chance to become champion.
3. Royal Rumble takes place on the same night as the AFC Championship game, and a Patriots win would definitely thrill Kingston.
As for WWE fans, they’ll be looking out for how Kingston saves himself from elimination -- you know, like the time he used a chair to get back into the ring from the announcer’s table.
As divisive as they are (at least on screen and in the ring), The New Day is really fun to watch.
