Cam Newton will play in his first NFC Championship game on Sunday. His preparation tactics are a little unorthodox.

Based on what he’s wearing during pregame warmups, that would appear to be Newton laying around the 5-yard line on the Cardinals side of the field. It’s a very strange scene and it’s not entirely clear why it’s happening. Here are a couple of ideas:
- Newton is taking a pregame nap and that just happened to be the most comfortable place.
- Newton is trying to steal Arizona’s game plan and thinks no one can see him.
- Newton is stretching and got confused of what side of the field he’s supposed to be on. Maybe that side is lucky.
- Newton is getting a very close look at the field conditions.
- Newton was just tired after making some sweet one-handed catches during warmups.
Somewhere, someone is furiously typing an angry letter to the editor how Cam being super relaxed before the game is not very classy.
