Cam Newton found out about his Super Bowl matchup with ‘The Sheriff’ Peyton Manning live on TV

Cam Newton spent pregame before the NFC Championship doing a few things like taking pictures with Jeezy and Future and laying in the middle of the field. One thing he apparently did not do was pay attention to the AFC Championship finish.

Only moments after clinching his first trip to the Super Bowl, Newton was informed on live TV who he would be going up against. The Panthers game started only a few minutes after the Broncos survived 20-18, so it's not a huge surprise Newton didn't know. Sure there are probably a dozen scoreboards around the stadium, but Newton was a little busy destroying the Cardinals to be scoreboard watching.
