The Broncos lose every Super Bowl in orange, so they are wearing white in Super Bowl 50
When the Broncos and Panthers meet in Super Bowl 50, Denver will be wearing white uniforms. On the surface that isn’t notable at all, but there is a reason for it. The home team at the Super Bowl rotates yearly between the NFC and AFC. This year it’s the AFC, so Denver had the choice to wear home orange jerseys or the road whites. They chose whites in large part to superstition.
“We’ve had Super Bowl success in our white uniforms, and we’re looking forward to wearing them again in Super Bowl 50,” John Elway said, via the team.
On Tuesday, the Broncos teased the white jerseys they’ll wear that February night, which houses the Super Bowl 50 logo on the right:

A 1-1 record in white jerseys doesn’t seem like a strong enough indicator to abandon home jerseys for, but it’s more about picking anything but orange.
As a Reddit user pointed out, the Broncos are 0-4 in the Super Bowl while wearing orange jerseys. That includes a 43-8 loss to Seattle two years ago. Maybe the white jerseys will help them avoid a start like this:
