Recently, the Chargers changed it to this.
Notice the difference? Chargers fans did.

Chargers removed the "San Diego" logo from their snapchat. Los Angeles Chargers in the upcoming days??? pic.twitter.com/OEwsGtqaH2

This is a small detail, but it’s a big deal to Chargers fans since the team might be moving from, you know, the city whose name they just removed from the avatar.
Hey @chargers, why the ghost 4 twitter? Are you about to disappear on San Diego or you still trying to scare us with talk of moving 2 LA?

The Chargers tried to give an explanation ...
Chargers say social media logo alteration was for aesthetics and has nothing to do with possible move. Then just bad timing. BAD. Terrible.

... which should go over well.
It's not bad timing, it's stupid timing. It's not self-aware. It'd be surprising if it weren't downright malicious. https://t.co/zufPohH9be
