Mavericks get roasted on Twitter after comparing Chandler Parsons to Stephen Curry

Wednesday’s match between the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors ended in yet another win for Stephen Curry and his crew (although Klay Thompson was the hero that night.) That’s not to take away from the Mavericks’ Chandler Parsons and performance during that game, since he had his Curry-esque moments like this one:

Apparently, the Mavericks Twitter account took that conceit a little too far and tweeted “Chandler ‘Steph’ Parsons” during the game.

Of course, that didn’t go over well, because the Mavericks got roasted in the replies:

Twitter lesson No. 1: You can totally support your team’s player, but definitely don’t compare him to the guy who’s playing on an entirely different level.

Twitter lesson NO. 2: People will remember this.
