It's been an unusual week for the Clippers as they try to work their way through the fallout after news broke that Blake Griffin injured his hand in a fight with a member of the team's equipment staff. By all accounts, it looks like the team isn't going to trade him, even though there might be some interesting deals they could make.
Doc Rivers thinks Blake Griffin can be forgiven because Richard Nixon got a library

Since the Clippers are going to have to welcome Griffin back at some point once he recovers, the Clippers have to think ahead about how they bring their star back into the fold. Coach Doc Rivers seems to think this won't be a major issue:

Doc may have a point here, but this is also the social media era. Even though it feels like we’re getting bombarded with more information than ever before, we’re pretty good at remembering the embarrassing things players do. That said, if Griffin can make a sincere apology and say “I am not a crook” directly into the camera, it will go a long way to convince people he’s a new man.
