This has been a banner NFL season for long-suffering players finally being fed up with their terrible teams. The Cleveland Browns have already pushed Joe Thomas to the breaking point, now Eric Weddle ensured there were no minced words when it came to his final game with the Chargers coming too soon.
It was clear Weddle probably wouldn’t play for the Chargers again after the team decided to place him on injured reserve for the final game -- but not even speaking to them? That’s a whole other kettle of fish.
