Professional snooker player faceplants after trying to lean on non-existent table in virtual reality

Virtual reality is just too real for professional snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan. While testing out the HTC Vive headset he face-planted after trying to lean on a table that didn’t exist.
This isn’t the case of some random dude falling over. O’Sullivan is the Michael Jordan of snooker. He’s been playing professionally for 24 years, dominated every level of competition, and won five world championships. He knows a table like the back of his hand, but just couldn’t handle how real the virtual table in front of him seemed.
Let this be a lesson if you ran out and bought a VR headset this week: Sometimes the game looks too much like real life. Enjoy virtual reality responsibly.
