College football player organizes the cutest midfield proposal for his girlfriend

The Samford football team had a special surprise after their big win over VMI, and it became all the sweeter for linebacker Deion Pierre and his girlfriend. While the team was celebrating on the field, Pierre’s teammates, all holding roses, circled the couple on the middle of the field while singing and doing a choreographed dance to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking out loud.”

There have been a lot of public proposals in sports, but this was just adorable. It was perfectly executed, Pierre waited until most of the crowd had left, and he made it as special as possible. Congratulations to the couple!
