For just $2,295 you can stare at this pole during the World Series at Wrigley Field

Look, regardless of whom you’re rooting for in the World Series, you can understand how fans are willing to spend the big bucks to catch their respective teams. And the majority of the time that fan will happily enjoy the game despite what their bank account says after the transaction is completed.
But this seat on sale for more than $2,295 isn’t worth it by any means. You might be telling yourself that it’s the atmosphere you’re really craving, but the atmosphere is little without the source of all that joy. Maybe head to Wrigleyville all day and watch the games with die-hard fans instead.
You’re not devoid of all the action! You might be lucky enough to see someone smack a homer out of the park. You’ll probably miss out on a fifth of its trajectory, but you’ll see it land in the bleachers. In the first two games of the series there have been two home runs, so mathematically you’re guaranteed to see at least one, right?
And while the ticket does guarantee you a seat at the ballpark, that doesn’t mean you have to sit there all game. If anything, a ticket like that is more for the price of admission than the seat itself. You can always walk around during the game to get a better view.
That sounds like a great idea, but the congratulatory feeling of finding a World Series hack will dwindle probably around the third inning. At that point, you’ll be searching for a nearby seat to take a break. That seat will undoubtedly be too far from the action and you’ll have to watch it on a TV by the bar.
But then again, sitting is one of the great sports activities if you’re a spectator. Even if you’re the athletes participating, say like a you’re a starter looking for some rest, a good sit can be invigorating. Being deprived of a sports staple because of a pole is just harsh.
