DeMarcus Cousins is over getting mad at technical fouls, so he’s giving refs a thumbs up instead

Things are changing for the Sacramento Kings. They have a brand new logo, a new coach, and they even moved to a new arena.
But the more things change, the more they stay the same — at least for Boogie Cousins. He was issued his first technical foul of the season on Saturday. And instead of complaining to the referees ad nauseam until they lose they become frustrated and think about kicking him out, Boogie did the next best thing: he smiled and gave an approving thumbs up.
That might be a little too enthusiastic. What if the refs hand him another one just because he politely requested one? One more and he would have been sent packing to the locker room while his Kings face the Timberwolves.
It’s not the first time the Kings star has taken the high road when it comes to the refs. Just last March, he and Rajon Rondo were both issued techs for sarcastically clapping in unison at the zebras’ decision.
It’s just funny to Boogie.
