So why should things be any different for the fans?
The Browns’ die-hard fans behind the east end zone are better known as the Dawg Pound. Or, as Sunday’s poorly distributed banner would have you believe, the GPO DAW UND.
It’s not all bad for Cleveland, however. Not only does the city’s baseball team stand one win from raising its first World Series banner since 1948, but its football team was actually winning on Sunday. The Browns carried a 20-7 lead over the New York Jets into halftime.
