DeAndre Jordan was so excited he ensured opposing fans wouldn’t get free frozen yogurt

DeAndre Jordan single-handedly stopped Minnesota Timberwolves fans from getting free frozen yogurt, and he couldn’t be happier.

On Saturday night, the Wolves were running a promotion where every fan in attendance would get free frozen yogurt if an opposing player missed two consecutive free throws. With Jordan in town, it was a pretty good bet they’d get something. He’s a career .422 free throw shooter and .456 on the year — but on Saturday we went off from the stripe.

OK, so “went off” is relative. He shot 10 of 16 on free throws, which isn’t impressive for anyone except DeAndre Jordan. Judging by how happy he was to deny frozen confections, it might be in the Clippers’ best interests to tell him that every road game has a chance of awarding free yogurt (or ice cream, or whatever).
