Drake made the Raptors’ ‘Drake Night’ all about Doris Burke

The Golden State Warriors were in Toronto on Wednesday night. So was Drake, who has been known to watch frogs come out of David Blaine’s mouth with good friend Steph Curry, which made this evening the perfect time for a Drake-related promotion.

Drake Night featured a t-shirt giveaway for every fan in attendance. The shirt looks more like a tour shirt than a basketball tee, but is still very cool.

But before the game began, Drake said a few words to reporters, and he did so in a shirt that overshadowed the one the Raptors were handing out that evening. This one had Doris Burke’s face, and it read ‘Woman Crush Everything.’

It turns out that wouldn’t be the only time Drake mentioned Burke. During an interview with ESPN’s Israel Gutierrez, Drake spent most of his time praising Burke and even invited her to dinner. All throughout, he had biggest grin on his face like a young kid falling in love in grade school. It was adorable. He eventually managed to sneak in a few words about the Raptors and Warriors.

He even posted an Instagram of Doris after the game.

And the best part is: Doris is taking him up on that date! We hope they have a lovely evening discussing smallball and the decline of the midrange game.
