It’s not uncommon for brothers to look alike, but playing football alike is an entirely different thing. At least that’s normally the case, but not so with T.J. Watt, who is out here scoring touchdowns for Wisconsin almost exactly how J.J. Watt does in the pros.
This is just an awesome play top to bottom, whether T.J. is the brother of one of the NFL’s best defenders or not. He was confident enough in his abilities to break off the tight end he was blanketing and make a play on the Purdue quarterback. From there he didn’t just sack the dude — he plucked the ball out of the air like it was nothing and took it to the house.
J.J. would be proud. T.J.’s been showing he has the athleticism all season long.
