Although the Cleveland Indians had an impressive lead against the Cubs this World Series, Chicago still managed to push back and force a Game 7. In order to not squander their chances of capturing their first title since 1948, the Indians are bringing in a ringer.
Charlie Sheen traveled to Cleveland to support his ‘Major League’ team
Wild Thing!

That’s right, cue up Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn. Charlie Sheen headed to Cleveland to support the Indians. He brought along a few familiar items from Major League, as well, including Jobu.
Okay, this was not an official invitation from the Cleveland organization, but fans of the team and the film seemed to embrace Sheen as he landed. He was brought in by Fresh Brewed Tees.
Even though he wasn’t there officially by the team, the current squad has not shied away from references to the movie. Just this summer, Yan Gomes was in a bit of a slump, so the team decided to “sacrifice” a chicken and asked Jobu to forgive them. If their trip to the World Series is any indication, it worked but maybe they need to hold this ritual one last time before the game.
And if that wasn’t enough good luck, Sheen also has with him a game ball from the final game in Major League. If the ball doesn’t guarantee a win for Cleveland, well quite frankly, I don’t know what will. Good luck, Indians.
