Sam Dekker ruined an easy dunk by tripping and hitting himself in the face
This is the blooper of the year.

Look, you’d do the same thing. If you were running a fast break, with 30 feet to dribble and another NBA athlete bearing down on you, there’s no way you wouldn’t fail in some manner. You’d get the shot blocked or you’d lose control of the ball. If you were smart, you’d just stop at the three-point line and hurl a shot that might have a chance to at least scrap the rim. Or hell, maybe you have teammates in this imagined scenario. For God’s sake, man, just pass it to one of them. They’ll know what to do with it.
Whatever you did, it still might be better than Sam Dekker straight-up falling over, having the ball hit him in the dang face, losing it out of bounds, and then returning the other way in utter and complete shame.
We’ve only played a week of NBA basketball, but I’m comfortable saying this will be the best blooper we get all season. Cheer up, Sam, we’ll forget all about this by next season.
