Odell Beckham Jr. really wanted to do the LeBron celebration in Cleveland

He ended up scoring anyway, and celebrating.

The New York Giants are taking on the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium, and Odell Beckham Jr. appeared to have had a spectacular punt return for a touchdown, coasting through Browns defenders like it was nothing.

But it didn’t count. The Giants’ Mark Herzlich was called for holding and this amazing return was called back:

Afterward, he paid homage to Cleveland’s greatest athlete, LeBron James, by doing his pregame powder throwing ritual.

Odell was not flagged for the celebration, which seems awfully rare nowadays. It’s too bad the touchdown was called back, because the celebration kinda went to waste.

It ended up being fine, though. Beckham was able to later find the end zone, and once again, pay tribute to Cleveland’s King James.

Everything always works out!
