Derek Anderson just got a penalty for yelling at the refs from the Panthers’ sideline
You don’t see this often.
They became so frustrated that backup quarterback Derek Anderson was called for unsportsmanlike conduct for yelling at an official.
Official Jerome Boger said on the call that Anderson was flagged for, “Coming out of the team area and disrespectfully addressing an official.”
One more penalty like that and Anderson will get ejected from the game without even stepping on the field. Or, at least taking a snap.
