The CFL’s Grey Cup went to overtime and everyone said the F-word a lot
They were nervous!
The CFL’s Grey Cup was on Sunday Night. The Calgary Stampeders and the Ottawa Redblacks competed to see who would be crowned the season’s champion. It was close throughout and regulation ended tied at 33 apiece. Needless to say, the players were anxious heading to overtime (which is a lot like American college football overtime rules, but drives start at the 35-yard line).
So you can’t really blame them for throwing out the word “fuck” over and over again on the ESPN2 broadcast. If I was in that situation, I’d probably be doing the same too. It’s a nerve-racking moment.
The Redblacks won 39-33 in overtime.
