The World Series came to an end on Wednesday night and with it, so did FOX’s coverage. But, not before Frank Thomas got in one final shot at fellow analyst Pete Rose.

”He bet on himself. No pun intended, Pete,” Thomas said while discussing Dexter Fowler’s performance. It was a very good dig at Rose — and his long history with betting on baseball — and a dig out of no where.
This isn’t the first time Thomas has ended the World Series by crushing someone inadvertently. Last year, the Mets were the victim.
Let this be a lesson to everyone for next year. When the World Series ends, be no where near Frank Thomas or he will zing you.
