Go ahead and watch this one all the way through, because you might need the slow-motion replay to show just how incredible this play was:
Cricket player runs to the ball, dives and makes ludicrous throw in 0.264 seconds

South Africa’s Temba Bavuma showed unreal balance and accuracy to run out David Warner during the first test match between Australia and South Africa. Let’s break down what’s happening here:
Warner decides he’s going to push the ball mid-wicket. It’s a relatively safe play, almost like a bunt. This is a shot you plan when you just want to put a run on the board and switch sides to get different batsmen in position.
There’s nothing wrong with how Warner plays the ball. You could see this shot 1,000 times and never see what Bavuma did. From the time the ball left Warner’s bat to the time Bavuma picked it up was just under two seconds. He wasn’t fielding in position to get this naturally, so he sprinted about 20 meters to make the pickup. Then his window was narrow — ludicrously narrow. In fact, he had just 0.264 from the time he picked up the ball to deliver a laser on the wickets — all while in midair.
That 0.264 time is a fact. It’s been officially timed. This might be the best run out you will ever see in cricket — period.
