Jordan Phillips’ first NFL interception was a joyous, magical, amazing affair. Not only did the big man pluck the ball out of the air like it was nothing, he also threw down a thunderously majestic hurdle for good measure.
The counterpoint to this is Ryan Fitzpatrick. Poor Fitzpatrick. He’s quickly become the NFL king of interceptions. He’s up to 12 of them this season, and against Miami he raised the bar by handing one out to a big beautiful man.
