High school RB hurdled a defender like he was wearing spring-loaded shoes

The best hurdle in a football game this year might have come from a high school junior.

That is 5’6 Ta’zhawn Henry, a junior from Lamar High School in Houston, TX. Let’s break down just how far he jumps in this particular play.

As you can see, he launches himself from the 19-yard line and comes down on his left foot at the 14-yard line. That’s is five freaking yards. Pretty incredible, right?

This comes on the heels of some of the best hurdles in the game from Ezekiel Elliott and the like.

According to ESPN, Ta’zhawn only holds a scholarship offer from Houston right now. That’s alright though. If video of plays like this start trickling out, there’s no doubt other schools will start taking notice of this amazing athlete.

Good luck this year, Ta’zhawn and keep hurdling!
