Steve Smith is one of the fieriest players in the NFL. He’s known to play with a lot of emotion. He’s also known to get into scraps with opponents and talk a lot of trash. It turns out his own coaches aren’t exempt.
Steve Smith wants his coaches to get him the ‘damn ball, motherf******’
After hauling in a fourth quarter pass, Smith had some choice words for his coaches on how much he was getting the ball.
That sounds like Smith is saying, “start giving me the goddamn ball, motherfuckers.”
Smith was targeted six times on the night, slightly down from the 7.2 targets he averages per game. Even at 37 years old, Smith is still getting it done and will never stop demanding the ball.
Fortunately for Smith, he kept his frustration vocal. Had he flipped off his coaches, he likely would have drawn a fine from the NFL like Doug Baldwin.
