This college basketball dunk was so ferocious, a player on the opposing bench ran away

There are a lot of ways to judge how good a dunk is. My favorite is to grade every dunk based on the reaction of the bench.

The basketball players on the bench have seen A LOT of good dunks. They’ve seen things in practice you could never imagine happening in a game. So if they get excited, it’s a really good dunk.

That is especially true if it’s the bench of the dunked on, not the dunker, that reacts. With that in mind, this dunk gets a 10 out of 10.

Thank you, person on the end of the bench who got up to run into the tunnel after seeing his teammate get viciously dunked on.

Wright State’s Steven Davis did the heavy lifting here with a great dunk. But the Urbana bench put the exclamation point on it.
