The Warriors offense is a thing of beauty, and on Thursday it operated at levels of unselfishness rarely seen in the NBA. Golden State didn’t score its first non-assisted basket until there was 36 seconds left to play in the third quarter. The Warriors assisted on each and every one of their first 36 baskets.
The Warriors ran up an absurd streak of 36 assists on 36 made shots to start a game
Team work makes the dream work.

Golden State was a perfect 26 assists on 26 made field goals in the first half. It wasn’t until Ian Clark scored on a pull up jumper that the streak ended.
Ball movement at levels like that makes any team tough to defend. It makes the Warriors nearly impossible to defend with the scorers they have. That’s part of the reason the Warriors can light up the scoreboard despite an off shooting night from Kevin Durant.
The record for assists by a team in a game is 53, set by the Milwaukee Bucks in 1978.
