Matt Barkley took a tip from someone who took a tip from Tom Brady.
The game between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers is expected to be among the coldest games in Chicago history with one meteorologist projecting it to be 2 degrees at kickoff — although, the temperature Sunday morning has been closer to 8 or 9 degrees.
So Barkley took a tip from another former USC Trojans quarterback on how to deal with the frigid temperatures:
If anybody would know how to deal with cold weather, it’d be Tom Brady. And Matt Cassel had to learn to get used to it in a career with the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, and Minnesota Vikings.
With Jay Cutler out for the year, the Bears have turned to Barkley to lead the way. In his three starts, Barkley has passed for 720 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.
