Giannis Antetokounmpo sent Zach LaVine’s shot flying
Oh boy!
At this point, you are aware that Giannis Antetokounmpo is a destructive force. Just when you think Antetokounmpo has exhausted his repertoire of mind-boggling plays, he goes ahead and does this.
On Friday against the Timberwolves, Antetokounmpo met up with Zach LaVine midcourt during a fast break. Being guarded by Antetokounmpo’s wingspan as you make your way to the basket is a daunting task, but it looked like LaVine created enough space to get a right-handed layup.
But then Antetokounmpo reappeared with a physical manifestation of Charlie Murphy screaming “Wrong. Wrong!” from “Chappelle’s Show” and swatted the ball out of the way. That shot never had a chance.
