The Carolina Panthers started Derek Anderson over Cam Newton on Sunday night against the Seahawks, and it could not have gotten off to a worse start.

The worst possible start happened for the Panthers.
Anderson threw an interception on the very first play from scrimmage, and set up the Seahawks nicely to start the game.
Newton reportedly didn’t start the game for disciplinary reasons, and it’s already cost the Panthers three points, as the Seahawks got a field goal off the turnover.
